If you’re a bride-to-be dreaming of a chilled out beach wedding, Bribie Island might be just the place for you! Located about an hours drive north of Brisbane, Bribie Island is the perfect spot for a relaxed celebration. It is Queenslands only offshore island connected to the mainland by bridge, making it easy and convinient for you and your guests to get to whilst still feeling like a destination wedding. And have I mentioned the killer sunsets? Winning!
Since joining the team at Bribie Island Weddings a couple of years ago, I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many weddings on Bribie. Last year BIW introduced the Bribie Island Venue Open Day, where a number of fantastic venues on the island opened their doors for brides-to-be to take a look at what having a wedding at their venue might be like. A number of cake makers, florists and event stylists also had the opportunity to showcase their incredible services. Meanwhile, I was there with my camera to capture it all. Here are some of the highlights from last year:
Stunning ceremony setup at Sunset Park by Beautiful Weddings Moreton Bay.
Gorgeous styling by Fabulous Funktions and cakes by Theres a Cake for that at Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club.
Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club has beautiful views.
I fell in love with this cake by Cake it to the limit.
Ceremony setup at Woorim Beach Fifth Avenue by Fabulous Funktions.
More amaaaazing creations by Fabulous Funktions and Theres a Cake for that at the Bribie RSL
